Christmas at the Castles with the Swinging Santas
It's chilly outside so where to enjoy a seasonal family fun day than inside at one of Scotland’s famous castles?
That Swing Sensation's Swinging Santas have become firm favourites at Historic Scotland's fun-filled christmas and this year the boys were on hand to add some Xmas Swing to packed Great Halls in Edinburgh and Stirling Castles on 7 and 14 December respectively.
The afternoons of family entertainment in these very special settings featured music, puppetry and panto and an appearance by a truly magical Father Christmas. who enthralled young and old alike with feats of magic. It was also the first outing for the Santa's latest member - the saxophine playing reindeer - named Rudolph in a popular vote by the children in the audience.
